For Zendaya’s first collection with Tommy Hilfiger, we created a story of confidence and inclusivity, paying homage to the powerful women, iconic looks and cultural revolution of the ’70s, alongside the spirit of Tommy’s original store, People’s Place.
We translated that inspiration into a contemporary visual world through period lenses, choreography, styling and a distinctive graphic language that extended from the campaign into the collection itself.
Photographed by Mikael Jansson, directed by Alan Bibby and styled by Law Roach, the campaign celebrated the women who paved the way through the eyes of a new cultural icon.
